    Very good slide

    Ordered one of these for a personal firearm rebuild, installed on a old Para ordnance frame kit I had stashed back for over 20 years. Had to spend several hours getting the fit " RIGHT" After fitting it moved glassy smooth. Final finish on frame and slide rails with 1500 grit wet sandpaper in a fixture I made for rail fitting. Installed a new WC Match barrel and bushing, . Fit was very tight. Goes I to battery like a vault door closing. Slight break in time and shooting 1" @ 25 yards. Quality forged steel slide, very close tolerances, will use these again for sure.

    Slides (bought two) are pretty well machined. Some dimensions are on the large side. Amoung these are slide barrel tunnel, breechface to firt locking lug, and slide ways (grooves). Oversized matching components would yield favorable fit. Sights are nice and seem well cut. Sight pictire is good. Also, the slide is a mixed vintage - old military sight cuts with modern slanted grooved front and rear cocking serrations. All told, for $99 you can’t beat the slide and its machining. It is a nice slide.
