Tank Commander 9
This pistol is a keeper. It reliably and accurately fires ball, hollowpoint, and +P ammunition. The trigger is very good and improving with use. There is no “hammer bite” and the Cerakote finish is durable and attractive. Only the sights kept my rating from being higher, but even the sights are a big improvement over the government model's. This all forged steel gun also features nearly zero MIM (only the recoil spring cap). Highly recommended.

Great value!
Always wanted a 1911 and finally bought a 9mm Tank Commander. Have 200 rounds through it with no malfunctions. Fairly heavy but a pleasure to shoot and pretty accurate!

Tank commander
I purchased the Tank commander in 9mm. First 100 rounds had some ejection issues. After a 100 rounds the 1911 came alive and started running like a 1911 should. I love this pistol, no recoil the heavy frame takes the recoil. It is like shooting in a time machine, a pistol designed over a hundred years ago. My Dad carried the 1911 in Korea. And Father in law in Okinawa. Thanks to all the workers at Tisas for making a Great Gun for a Great price that people can afford. I look forward to buying the full size model asap.
