Cosmetic Condition and Included Accessories
SDS Arms does not cover cosmetic blemishes, finish damage, or missing accessories that were present when the firearm was purchased and accepted by the original retail purchaser. Before completing a firearm transfer, especially for an online purchase, the purchaser should inspect the firearm to confirm that its condition, model, configuration, and included accessories are acceptable. Any visible blemish, damage, or missing accessory discovered after the firearm has been accepted and the transfer paperwork completed must be addressed with the selling dealer or retailer.
SDS Arms does not test or certify third-party accessories for compatibility with every firearm model. Accordingly, SDS Arms disclaims responsibility for damage, malfunctions, injuries, or other issues resulting from the installation or use of aftermarket accessories or modifications.
Any warranty claim involving a modified firearm will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may be denied if the modification contributed to the reported issue.

Certain states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, portions of this Limited Warranty may not apply to you.
Obtaining warranty service/submit RMA
No firearm will be accepted without prior authorization. Unauthorized shipments will be returned to the sender. Depending on applicable federal, state, and local laws, customers may be required to ship their firearm through or receive their firearm from a Federal Firearms Licensee. It is the customer’s responsibility to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. When submitting a warranty or repair request, customers may be required to provide:
- Proof of purchase
- The firearm’s serial number
- Photographs or video of the reported issue
- A detailed description of the malfunction or defect
- A valid government-issued photo identification document
- Additional information reasonably requested by SDS Arms Customer Service
Non-Covered Repairs
If SDS Arms determines that a reported condition is not covered under this Limited Warranty, the customer will be notified and may be provided with an estimate for:
- Replacement parts
- Repair labor
- Return shipping
- Other applicable service charges
Repair Turnaround Times
Warranty inspections, repairs, and replacements typically require three (3) to four (4) weeks from the date the firearm is received by SDS Arms. Actual turnaround times may vary based on parts availability, shipping conditions, the nature of the reported condition, and current service volume. Turnaround estimates begin when the firearm is received and checked into the SDS Arms service department, not when the initial RMA request is submitted.
- Confirm that the firearm is completely unloaded
- Remove all ammunition from the firearm, magazines, case, and shipping container
- Do not ship ammunition under any circumstances
- Remove aftermarket accessories unless SDS Arms specifically requests that they remain installed
- Remove optics, slings, lights, lasers, suppressors, and other customer-installed accessories unless instructed otherwise
- Package the firearm securely to prevent movement or damage during transit
- Use a plain, unmarked outer shipping container that does not identify the contents as a firearm
- Include the RMA number where instructed by SDS Arms Customer Service
- Include any documentation requested by SDS Arms Customer Service
Customers must follow all shipping instructions provided with their RMA authorization. A prepaid shipping label may be provided when SDS Arms determines that the reported condition may qualify for warranty coverage. The issuance of a prepaid label does not constitute final approval of a warranty claim. Firearms must be shipped in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as the policies of the shipping carrier. Depending on the firearm, the customer’s location, and applicable law, the firearm may be returned directly to the customer or may be required to be returned through a Federal Firearms Licensee.
Adult signature may be required upon delivery. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the return address provided to SDS Arms is current, accurate, and legally eligible to receive the firearm. SDS Arms may require a copy of a valid government-issued photo identification document to confirm the customer’s identity and return address.
Return Tracking and Delivery
When available, return tracking information will be sent to the email address provided with the RMA request. Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and ensuring that an eligible adult is available to receive the shipment. SDS Arms is not responsible for delays, missed deliveries, carrier restrictions, incorrect customer-provided addresses, or packages returned because an adult signature could not be obtained.
