Details
Another classic being resurrected by Military Armament Corporation is the new MAC Knife based on a design known the world over for its use in combat around the globe. Originally designed to give troops serving in Vietnam a more modern knife for use in hand-to-hand combat, it went on to be extremely popular among troops during the conflict and beyond. Today the MAC Knife starts with a 440C blade with Satin Stainless finish that is ground and heat treated to 58-60 HRc for a durable 20˚ cutting edge that is easy to maintain. The aluminum handle features a matte gray cerakote finish with a subtle texture that blends well with the contrasting pommel and guard. Each MAC Knife comes with a military style leather sheath.

a almost perfect clone of a Gerber mkII knife
Great knife. I purchased 2 of them
Seems to be a great quality knife, I heard about this knife from Larry vickers
I liked it so much, I bought 2 of them
I had to send it back because it got damaged in shipping, but otherwise, it is great!
SHEATH COULD BE MUCH BETTER FOR THE PRICE. HAVE ALREADY CUT THROUGH SIDE STICHING.
Leather sheath is somewhat flimsy, although deigned from the original. Thicker leather would be worth paying an extra $50.
I've been a Gerber MKII collector for many years and I own an original made in 1970 that was carried by friend in Vietnam. This is the 2nd knife I've bought and my plan is to give this one to a friend who served with the 5th SFG in Vietnam. The knife is spot-on to the original, my only gripe is the sheath, it should have the hanger wire at the top and the lanyard is plastic but that didn't stop me from purchasing another for someone I hold in high esteem. GREAT PRODUCT ?
Reminds me of the Gerber Mk1. I own a Mk 11, which I purchased in 1978 for $25.00 in the USAF FOUR SEASONS STORE on the USAF airbase at Kaiserslautern ,while I was stationed in Germany. The original knives marked US PROPERTY are now valued at 2000.00US Who would have thought that 50 years ago.
