GREAT MIL-SPEC 1911/1911A1 EARLY SAFETY. LOOKS GREAT DROP IN FIT.
Beautifull grey parkerized looking finish. Dropped in with no fitting required and perfect function. Received it in 3 days. Installed on 9mm Stingray and much prefer this to the original ambi safety. Not a perfect color match to the original slide stop or safety but not a problem for me. The size and extra leverage with original ambi safety made accidental deactivationj too easy. The little nub is not easily knocked off and yet I have absolutely no problem engaging/disengaging it when needed.
Perfect replacement for my broken thumb safety for my 1945 Remington Rand 1911A1.
Since my first review l have learned the gap is normal on many 1911s. The safety is beautifully forged and machined with nice grippy checkering on the thumb tab. I hereby recind my previous review. Tisas, please feel free to delete my first review.
