Works, but...
I added this to my 1911 A1 Service pistol along with other upgrades. This safety works but doesn't provide the audible click I got from the single side safety that came with it. The same safety is on both my B45 Duty and B45R Carry and they provide a very audible click when the thumb safety is engaged or disengaged.
