Wanted to individualize my stingray carry by swapping several controls to stainless and this was a factory part so it was no trouble to exchange for the factory black one. Wish they offered more stainless parts for the carry 9 series so I could keep it 100% Tisas.
The .220 tang radius is not common, and SDS has an amazing price and a high quality part. I am very happy with the upgrade to my 1911.
this is a great looking product but it goes into the grip frame so far that the hammer strut rubs on it and it sinks so far into the grip that the grip extends out past the grip safety plus it will not even let the mainspring housing retain the grip safety with the ledge on the housing and no I cannot just return it because I have modified it so the safety portion does not engage the trigger bow when not depressed buy just cutting off the tab that hits the trigger.
Very disappointed that this did not fit my Tisas 1911 A1. I would be very happy if you guys made one to fit my pistol. What would it take for that to happen?
