Grips are to dark
I have the same style grips from other mfg's that have a nice walnut color. The ones they sell are so dark they almost look black..So if you like that look, they are for you. If not sig has a set that's not so dark

Great Upgrade for 1911
The TISAS walnut grip set is a great upgrade for the SDS 1911 A1. The wooden grips look great and the checkering is much more comfortable than the standard plastic grips. Very happy with my purchase.

US 1911 grips
Fast shipping and nice set of grips. Only issue is the example online is much lighter in color than the grips received. Mine are very dark all over the photo shows lighter color behind US but they look great on the gun and feel much better than the factory plastic

The color was in-between the dark brown and black plastic grips, but that's the nature of walnut.
These walnut grips make the pistol look great and they feel good in my hands. Will order again.

Unbiased Review
I ordered two sets of these to replace the mil-spec plastic grips. Shipping was quick and the quality is consistent with all Tisas USA products I've seen. Obviously the fit & workmanship was perfect. The only issue was the color was slightly darker than what I'd consider ideal. Certainly not a deal breaker. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat. Light buffing with steel wool then oiling and the color lighted up just enough to make me very happy. They made a world of difference in looks & feel.
