From Our Customers
The product photo clearly shows a Mec-Gar magazine, yet SDS shipped me a Sabatti magazine. When I inquired via email, the response was: "Those magazines are Sabatti, not Mec-Gar. That is what we carry in our inventory. See the website: please note: Tisas magazines are manufactured to exacting standards by several sub-contractors that include: Mec-Gar, CheckMate and Sabatti. Magazines may vary in appearance from those in photo. Please note that we cannot fulfill requests for a specific manufacturer. You may mail the item(s) back to us at your expense and once we receive it, your card will be refunded for the full purchase price of the item(s). We advise insuring the return shipment and keeping your tracking information to verify that we received the item as we won’t be able to issue a refund if the item is lost, stolen, or damaged on its way back to us." This is misleading. If Mec-Gar is pictured, that’s what customers expect to receive. For 1911s, magazines matter—Sabatti magazines are not equivalent. They have different followers, impact feeding, and are not interchangeable. The 8-round Sabatti design is essentially a modified 7-round GI spec magazine, which explains why they are problematic. This feels like a bait-and-switch.
I have several of these magazines and all have worked perfectly. They come well packaged in the original bag, as supplied by MecGar, made in Italy by one of the largest magazine manufacturers in the world. You can’t do any better OMHO
Excellent product
It fits and works. What more can i say.
Love this company. Gonna be bigger than the competition
The reason I say it’s okay is because I bought a hand gun from this company. Which was the b45 stingray 1911. The gun comes with 2 mags right and of course the gun it’s self well both mags were sticky as in you can stick your finger in it and would not shoot back up likes it’s supposed to. Well the gun would jam like twice every mag change meaning it would jam twice every 8 rounds. I bought this one and let’s just say it didn’t stick and seem to work fine well the bad part of it is this mag worked so good it had let me know I got a lemon. (Defected or not well manufactured fire arm). I know sad right don’t worry I sent the fun back and there looking at it now
Purchased three and at the Range two cycled properly the third stopped on round four. And you had to engage the slide to finish the mag. Had this problem with the other maker of the magazines.(Meg-Gar) The only ones so far to successfully cycle. Every time are the ones that came in the box. I have been advised to buy Wilson Mags.
Nice mags that did not fit with a flared magwell
I would purchase again from this vendor.
