Learned about this shotgun from SHOT 2023, specifically James Reeve's interview with Tim from SDS imports. (found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3hZdHgh7Ag) I was impressed with Tim's comments on addressing the influx of low quality Turkish shotguns & SDS's efforts to work with the best engineers to really improve their shoguns. Purchased the gun after making a few phone calls & some mid-level research. It shipped quickly & arrived quickly. Took it out to the range the following weekend for the recommended 100 round (1350fps) break in period. I did clean & lubricate the internals before hand (as everyone should.) Note: -I did not find any metal shavings or gunk inside and all parts had no evidence of poor workmanship. -the Benelli aftermarket partsI put on the gun after break-in fit no problem. For my break-in I used 75 rounds of Super-X 1235fps Bird Shot (which is low brass) because its what I mostly shoot. Happy to report that I only had 2 out of 75 rounds fail to cycle, the 3nd & the 5th round. No lite strikes on any round & recoil was excellent. Besides those 2 rounds, dumping the mag quickly & shooting clays was smooth sailing. I am extremely happy with my purchase, the performance, and quality of the gun! I will be purchasing from SDS/MAC again in the future.
