MAC-5 LMF Handguard
The MAC-5 LMF Handguard is a modern, integrated LED light handguard designed as a direct replacement for standard MP5-pattern forearms. Combining a compact, ergonomic design with powerful 700-lumen LED illumination, the LMF delivers 9,000 candela of focused light and provides clearance for suppressors up to 1.9 inches in diameter. Compatible with popular MP5-pattern firearms, including the MAC-5, HK SP5, MKE AP5, Zenith ZF-5, and POF MP5, the LMF brings modern lighting technology to a classic platform.
Constructed from durable glass-filled reinforced nylon, the LMF features an integrated pressure-pad switch with momentary and constant-on operation, allowing convenient light activation without changing the support-hand grip. A dedicated ON/OFF cutoff switch helps prevent accidental activation during transport or storage, while its IPX6 water-resistant construction provides protection against harsh weather conditions.
Powered by two included CR123A batteries, the LMF delivers up to 5 hours of runtime and features standard Scout Light-pattern bezel threading for additional customization. Shipping was impressively fast. My order went out right away and arrived quickly in great shape. The light output has a solid throw, and I like having both constant on and momentary activation. I am also impressed by the suppressor compatibility I get with this placement. I can run my HUX 9K, Spectre 9, and Octane 9K without issue. I do have one complaint. The pressure pad placement feels awkward. It would be better if it were more ergonomic and offered modular placement for right handed and left handed setups, or could be swapped to either side. As it is, the current location does not make much sense for my use.

I am thoroughly impressed with this item, I had wanted this for quite a while to finish my MAC5. It installed incredibly easy, is very comfortable to shoot with, the light for what I wanted it for is pretty good. I appreciate the development of this product at a more than reasonable price point compared to other options on the market. If you’re looking to complete a MAC5, this is the product you’re looking for.
The MAC 5 LMF-Series Handguard is great quality for your money. It beats Surefire price and quality in my opinion and experience. Thank you Military Armament Corporation for bringing another great product to the firearms market.
