A screamin’ demon. Be sure to clean well and lube generously out of the box, but once that’s done, she runs like a sewing machine. Smooth as butter, effortless, minimal to no recoil. Love sending lead down range with this thing. Check your bolt gap; .010-.018” ideal.
These will be the favorite firearms in your safe. When you get them, take them apart, clean and generously lube them. Then cycle them 1K, 2K or even 3K x's. It's not that big of a deal. Take them apart, clean and generously lube them again. Then take them to the range, fire them and feel the smile wash over your face! Will you still maybe have an issue? - Possibly? If you do, call SDS and they will make it right. If you want an an absolute perfect self defense weapon, drop the $3k and buy the HK MP5. You want the absolute best, bang-for-your-buck, putting-a-smile-on-your-face, range toy? Buy these. - You won't be disappointed.
I recently bought mine and was having alot of issues. I couldn't get through a mag without a malfunction or ftf. I was going to send it back to get lookedat, but thought I'd take it to the range one more time and I'm glad I did. After about 200 rounds it started working flawlessly. Since then I've tried all types of ammo and have not had a single malfunction. I'm about 500 rounds in now and am really happy with my purchase. When I initially had issues I emailed MAC and they responded quickly and were willing to immediately get mine shipped out for them to look at and fix. Like I said I didn't have to do this, but they were willing to help if I would've. I would definitely recommend to all hk fans, but just remember it's a clone and be patient.
