The Tisas Duty Builders Kit is a complete set of parts to build a 1911 in .45ACP. This kit is based of the popular Duty B45 model and includes everything needed to assemble a functional pistol with some basic to moderate fitting.
Duty Frame and Slide are unfinished raw carbon steel.
5” .45ACP Barrel is hard-chromed.
Small Parts are cerakote black.
Pins and Spring are phosphate coated.

Duty Builders Kit
Great kit. Easy assembly. Used a small triangular file to trim the front and rear sights for a snug press fit. The mainspring housing pin was extremely snug. Used sand paper to reduce the diameter. After assembly i found the grip safety is lighter than I expected. I ordered a replacement sear spring from Brownells to tighten up the feel. I will again sand the housing pin to improve the fit allowing for installation and removal without the use of a hammer and punch. Fired 50 rounds no problems reasonable offhand accuracy! Thanks for a great product Bob
