The TAR 12FDE takes the style and aesthetics of the AR/M4 rifle to the shotgun platform giving the end-user a familiar manual of arms and controls. The integrated picatinny rails on the receiver and handguard give multiple mounting options for optics and other accessories. The TAR 12P utilizes the industry standard T-1919 shotgun magazine, that are available in varying capacities up to 20rds.

I bought it from Palmetto arms at a discount and did not have high expectations. Online chatter said i only cycle with 1300fpm ammo. The first couple times i took it out it would not cycle for more than two rounds. The third and would have been the last time out i flipped it upside down and flooded it with Hope oil. It cycled 3 boxes of rounds perfectly and i was wishing i had brought more. I have had it a year, i do not give it special ammo. I use full choke and added a red dot. Every time we go shooting it is with me and i end the day obliterating whatever was the target. Great gun for the $$. It has cycled hundreds of rounds without an issue.
