The heat sheild fits fine, here's a few steps for those who need help installing it, 1.remove the tube cap, pull handguard off, loosen the barrel nut enough to slide the barrel out and inch, 2 put the hand guard back on, 3 put the heat shields front end gap under the front sight at an angle then push down near the end of the barrel closes to the reciever, push down hard then slide the barrel back in place you may have to pull the bolt back to full seat it, 3 screw your 2 shell extension or factory tube cap on all the way, 4. Get a screw driver mostly a flat head and then tighten the barrel nut till it dosnt move anynore by moving the flat head agianst the checked texture rotating it, through the mlok holes on the front of the hand guard. Note you may have bent the reciever side of the heat sheild to get a more snug fit.
Quality I 'm very happy with this item thanks guys
I slightly removed the barrel and slide the shield over top and behind the front sight. It was a snug fit, reattaching the hand guard(extra snug fit), with a little bit of elbow grease. Afterwards I was able to reassemble, the little bit I took apart, install the +2 barrel and the rear sight, to complete my customization. Again, this can be done with any modifications. 1.Loosen tube nut & slide the barrel out about an inch 2.Slide behind front sight and fit into the space above the barrel 3. Slide handguard back down into place, 4.retighten all loosened parts: tube cover
These accessories and the shotgun have been amazing. I think I have spend more on the add-ons than I have for the shotgun itself which has been rock solid we got first place for a gopher tournament just got 95 of them. I feed all the rejected 12 ga shells thotugh this stuff that has poor crip, over, under crimp, crimps that are opening up and dents bend in the sidewalls of the shells and the shotguns eats them all and spits them out. Highly reccomend and the heat sheild fits perfect dont pay attention to the bad reviews they don't know how to loosen their barrels to install, I don't think there is any instructions but there is a slot for it on the receiver. I love this gun and he addon options got the extended tube ghost sight and heat shield on the two I have friends love them.
great product and looks good on it. im giving a 4 star cause during shooting test. i did have powder residue across the back of it. does not seem like it fits snug
Very nice product. Installed in a few minutes fit great. Nice finish well made part.
Don't know why there are any bad reviews of this heat shield... I pulled the barrel out about 1 inch, slid the front of shield under front sight, lowered the rear of shield down against the barrel and slid everything back in place. Tighten magazine cap and you are done! Literally took less than 5 minutes, Great addition to the Titan!
Arrived right on schedule. I have not had the time to get it installed but so far it looks like it is very good quality! ?
Easy to install, but after installation the barrel does not sit perfectly back to its original position by about almost 1/4”. I Haven’t shot it yet, but I’ll I’m not sure how I like not being able to fully tighten down the magazine cap to its previous position.
